CHMC will analyse all proposed expenditure to eliminate waste, whether the project is refurbishment, new build, change of use or acquisition.

We believe that there are three principal reasons for any capital expenditure:

• Defensive - maintaining the value of the asset or its market share
• Strategic - repositioning of the hotel, re-branding, conversion, or alternative use
• Expansion -additional guest rooms, spa & leisure facilities etc
